About Rosemary
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 7 years of teaching high school and college students. I have successfully taught over 150 students, helping them improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. My teaching philosophy centres on communication, creativity, and student-focused learning. I design lessons that are interactive, practical, and engaging, incorporating discussions, writing exercises, role-plays, and real-life examples. I encourage students to actively participate, practice consistently, and gain confidence in using English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts. Many of my students have improved exam results, enhanced communication skills, and become confident English speakers. Watching students achieve their goals, grow academically, and develop a genuine interest in learning motivates me to provide meaningful, effective, and supportive lessons. My ultimate aim is to help students not only improve their English skills but also grow in confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning

Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons dynamically, incorporating multimedia tools, games, discussions, and real-life scenarios to make learning practical and enjoyable. Communication is encouraged in every session, fostering confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Positivity strengthens engagement—I celebrate achievements, motivate learners, and help them embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. Alongside ESL, I teach relevant subjects such as grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and comprehension strategies, providing a well-rounded language learning experience that supports both academic and personal success.
