About Anisha
Hi there! I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic online tutor with a passion for mentoring. I hold a degree in International Relations, Economics, and Peace & Conflict Studies from Colgate University, along with 3 years of experience working with students in this age group. I understand that each student has their own unique learning style and pace, and I work hard to create individualized lesson plans that cater to each student's specific needs. My goal is to not only help my students excel academically, but also to foster a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my friends. I'm excited to meet and work with you to help you achieve your academic goals!

Having worked with a multitude of tutors throughout my own education, I found that the most effective relationships are based in active listening and empathy. Learning is a by-product of strong communication and establishing that dynamic first is key.
My online tutoring lessons are designed to help students achieve academic success and gain confidence in their abilities. In my math lessons, I start with the basics and work my way up to more advanced concepts, making sure each student has a solid foundation before moving on. I use real-world examples and interactive activities to make math engaging and fun. In my English lessons, I focus on reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar. I encourage students to express their thoughts and ideas through creative writing exercises and engaging discussions. My goal is to provide each student with personalized attention and support, helping them to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
