About Naomi
My interest in guitar developed from enjoying live music, songwriting, and expressive instrumental performance from a young age. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Performance and have spent the last 6 years helping students strengthen musical confidence through supportive teaching and practical learning methods. I enjoy helping learners feel more creative and relaxed while playing music.
I focus on creating lessons that are adaptable for different learning styles, musical interests, and confidence levels. Some students improve through repetition and technical practice, while others respond better to improvisation and creative exploration. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and musical freedom so students can improve steadily while building guitar skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing music, recording instrumental arrangements, and exploring different guitar genres and styles. Staying connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover creativity and confidence through music.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop strong musical skills through practical learning and enjoyable playing activities. I teach chords, strumming patterns, scales, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, rhythm training, and music theory using guided exercises that make learning approachable and rewarding. Lessons focus on improving coordination, creativity, and confidence while creating a supportive musical environment.
Beginners improve through chord transition exercises, rhythm practice, and simple songs that gradually strengthen foundational guitar skills. Intermediate learners develop stronger finger control, improvisation ability, and timing consistency through technical drills and structured repertoire study. Advanced students focus on expressive solo playing, advanced techniques, and polished performance preparation with deeper musical understanding. I also include ear training and collaborative activities that help students improve naturally.
Guitar becomes more meaningful when students understand musical expression instead of simply memorizing patterns mechanically. My lessons encourage creativity, patience, and steady progress while helping learners improve comfortably. I want students to become more expressive, skilled, and confident while enjoying the process of making music.
