About George
As a gigging guitarist and Music Technology graduate, Music and music theory are my favourite subjects to tutor. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students connect the mechanics of their playing to concepts of music theory, opening the door to students composing and improvising much more freely.

Engaging music theory teaching focused towards passing grade 5 theory. I keep the lessons continually interesting by providing musical context and use cases of the theory you're learning. I have been playing for around 15 years now and composing for the last 8. My degree in Acoustics and Music Technology has further set me up to be able to explain core music theory concepts in a clear, in-depth manner.

George is a great teacher, he's got the understanding to explain why musical constructs work the way they do, coupled with the useful skill of being able to simplify it to any level that he is teaching especially if that person has no background in music theory
George is a friend of mine and has helped me learn some basic guitar over the years. He is a very highly skilled guitarist and a good teacher. He is attentive and gives helpful and constructive feedback. His attention to detail makes understanding your mistakes easy. Overall a delightful tutor.
