About Reid
My teaching methodology in Economics centers on clear communication, patience, and adapting to each student’s unique learning style. I believe that understanding Economics starts with breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. I take the time to listen carefully to my students’ questions and concerns, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout the learning process. By using real-life examples and practical case studies, I help students see how economic theories apply to everyday life, making the subject more interesting and easier to grasp. I also tailor my lessons to suit different learning preferences, whether a student learns best through visuals, discussion, or hands-on practice. This flexibility helps students stay engaged and absorb the material more effectively. Beyond Economics, I am able to teach related subjects that complement economic understanding, such as Business Studies and Finance. My patient and adaptable approach ensures that students build a strong foundation of knowledge and develop the confidence they need to succeed in exams, assignments, and beyond.

I am a dedicated Economics tutor with 3 years of experience teaching both high school and college students. Over this time, I have had the privilege of working with around 150 students, guiding them through the complexities of Micro and Macro Economics. My passion for education drives me to make learning engaging and accessible, breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable ideas. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect theory with the world around them. Watching my students grow in confidence and succeed in their exams motivates me every day.
Throughout my tutoring career, I have achieved important milestones, such as helping many students improve their grades significantly and develop a genuine interest in Economics. I believe every student has unique learning needs, so I tailor my lessons to match their pace and style. My approach is patient, supportive, and focused on building a strong foundation of knowledge. I am committed to helping my students not only pass their exams but also develop critical thinking skills that will benefit them in their academic and professional futures.
