About Isla

With over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I guide high school students through the demands of IB and A-Level Mathematics. My focus is always on conceptual clarity, ensuring students develop a deep understanding rather than just memorising formulas. I specialise in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, making these subjects less intimidating through clear explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to approach problems from multiple angles, showing that flexibility in thinking leads to stronger results. Regular past paper practice is central to my lessons, as it improves exam technique and builds confidence. Each session is interactive, giving students the space to ask questions and explore concepts fully. I also track progress carefully to make sure gaps in understanding are addressed.
