About Tessa
With more than 7 years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I have supported many IB and A-Level students in achieving their goals. My lessons focus on clarity, ensuring that concepts are understood deeply before applying them to problems. I specialise in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, simplifying complex topics for learners. I highlight multiple problem-solving methods so students can discover strategies that work best for them. Past paper practice is integrated into lessons to strengthen exam readiness. My teaching style is interactive and engaging, giving students ownership of their learning. I adapt my explanations to different learning needs and levels. I provide consistent feedback so progress is always visible. Over time, students develop stronger mathematical thinking and greater resilience.
