About Levi

My passion for mathematics began through an early interest in patterns and logical structures. I pursued an M.Sc in Mathematical Sciences to deepen my understanding of both theory and application. Over 11 years, I have worked with students across elementary school math, middle school math, SAT math preparation, and early calculus, guiding them toward clarity and confidence. I teach with patience and flexibility, adapting explanations to each student’s learning style. I use visual models, stepwise reasoning, and practical examples to simplify abstract ideas. I encourage open discussion and treat mistakes as valuable learning moments, helping students build resilience and confidence. Outside teaching, I continue engaging with mathematics through independent study and problem exploration. Teaching math is rewarding because I witness students transform self-doubt into confidence. Supporting learners as they realize their own ability to reason and solve problems is deeply fulfilling.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes much clearer when students understand the reasoning behind each step rather than memorizing procedures. My lessons support learners across elementary school math and middle school math, focusing on building strong numerical foundations and logical thinking. I emphasize patience, clarity, and consistent structure so students feel supported while exploring new concepts and strengthening confidence.

As learners progress, lessons expand into geometry, algebra, SAT math, and introductory Calculus. I guide students through problem-solving strategies step by step, connecting new ideas to existing knowledge. Visual explanations, worked examples, and guided practice help students see patterns and logic clearly. This structured approach reduces anxiety and builds steady confidence when facing challenging problems.

Beyond academic results, Maths lessons encourage perseverance, focus, and analytical thinking. Students learn that mistakes are part of learning and that understanding grows through careful reasoning. My goal is to help learners feel calm, capable, and confident when working with mathematics at any level.
