About Eleanor
Writing regularly for my university newspaper, I believe it is my capabilities in English and the humanities that allow me to be successful in this area. A passionate creative writer, I have also won various competitions for my stories, which explore philosophical, as well as socio-political issues. Studying Mandarin in my free time also provides me with a greater understanding of language awareness and cognitive abilities.

At the end of a long day, my lessons are simple, but effective. Each session is interactive, with questions and activities that help the student focus on the task and approach the activity from a new angle. I use a fifteen minutes of focused work, followed by a short reflection and feedback approach, to help maintain focus throughout the session. Most importantly, each student's needs are assessed, and my lessons tailored to their capabilities.
