About Sydney
I'm Sydney, I love hanging out with my family and my dogs. I recently graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in business. My goal is to help you succeed in your classes, I will push you to do your best; even if you hate me. I am strict but also fun. I will make sure you get your work done while also trying to joke around sometimes. Studying requires determination and discipline, and I value those traits in a person. By the time I am done tutoring them, my students always improve by at least one letter grade. One of my proudest moments was when I brought a girl in Geometry up from an F to a B grade.

I like to base my lessons based on how I learned best in school, as well as how you learn best. I tend to offer visual, auditory, and a bit of hands-on learning by practicing on your own and asking me for help if you need it.
I have experience with my own tutoring business, as well as working in a middle school as a tutor for pre-algebra (8th grade math). I was called in because students in 7th-grade math got their curriculum changes 9 weeks into the school year to 8th-grade math. It was my job to guide them and tutor them in 8th-grade math as well as teaching them specific foundations that they needed to have from 7th-grade math.
My lessons are for elementary school students, up to Algebra 2. I have received straight As throughout school and I just graduated college with a 3.8 GPA.
