About Miriam
Hi, my name is Miriam and I’m a high school student with strong grades in math and a genuine passion for helping others learn. While I’m new to tutoring, I’ve always been the person classmates and friends come to when they need help understanding a math problem or preparing for a test. I explain things in a calm, clear, and simple way, and I’m very patient when someone doesn’t get it right away. I take this opportunity seriously and will come to every session prepared, focused, and ready to support each student’s success. I believe everyone can get better at math with the right help, and I’m excited to be that support.

My lessons are personalized and designed to help each student feel confident and supported in math. I focus on breaking down topics in a simple, clear way using real-life examples and step-by-step explanations. I make sure students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the steps work. Whether we’re working on basic math or early algebra, I adjust my teaching to match the student’s level and pace. I always make sure they feel comfortable asking questions, and I end every session with a quick review to make sure everything makes sense.
