About Nafisa
Hello!
I recently moved from the US a couple of months ago, and have started my A-Levels. I am looking to teach American curriculum Psychology, which helps build understanding for A/AS-levels, since AP and dual credit are considered college-level courses, much like A-Levels.
I have always had an interest in psychology, and taking psychology in high school pushed me to do other extracurricular activities out of interest. I've written a case study on the epigenetics of schizophrenia, and competed twice in the psychology olympiad, moving on to the second round.
I hope to help your child be able to conceptualize the materials and share my extensive notes :)

Psychology Tutoring & Olympiad Prep (AP and Dual-Credit Level)
I believe that effective study methods and personalized learning routines are what truly distinguish an A student from a C student. That's why I adapt my teaching to match your students' learning style. Whether they learn best through visual diagrams, detailed written notes, or a combination of methods. My goal is to help students not just memorize information, but truly conceptualize and understand psychological concepts.
Lesson Structure:
-1-hour sessions, available up to 4 times per week
-Extensive notes and study materials provided
My Qualifications:
-2x Psychology Olympiad competitor with hands-on competitive experience
-Written a research analysis on the epigenetics of schizophrenia
-Studied college-level Psychology and Ethics
-Self-studied and excelled in AP Psychology
-Comprehensive collection of study materials and resources developed through my own academic journey
