About Ruby
I hold a first-class degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I ranked top of my cohort.
I also achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-level, and have supported many students with their own exam preparation, helping them reach the top grades they deserve.
I understand how overwhelming revising for exams can be, and that difficult topics may sometimes feel impossible. However, I firmly believe that with time, practice, and patience, no goal is impossible. Seeing a student’s confidence grow is my favourite part of being a tutor.

I offer lessons in maths and all three sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) for students up to and including GCSE level.
As well as eight years’ experience tutoring, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant and volunteered in primary schools, so I’m used to teaching students of many different ages.
I will always tailor lessons to a student’s specific needs and strengths, but my lessons focus on breaking down difficult topics until they become second nature. I offer a wide range of effective resources including flashcards and practice question banks to help students organise their revision, as well providing support with classwork and homework as needed.
