About Carys
Hello, I’m Cays. I’ve always believed that language is more than words; it’s connection, expression, and discovery. Teaching English is my way of sharing that joy with others. I love helping students find their voice in English and watching their confidence grow as they learn to express themselves freely and authentically. In my classes, you’ll find encouragement, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for your progress. Every lesson is crafted to suit you, your goals, your interests and your rhythm. We’ll explore English through conversation, stories, creativity, and real-life experiences, so you don’t just learn the language, you live it. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds, from beginners taking their first steps to advanced students polishing their fluency. My goal is to make each lesson feel like an inspiring journey, one where learning becomes enjoyable, personal, and deeply rewarding. I believe that learning English should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. My teaching approach is student-centred and communicative, focusing on helping learners use English confidently in real-life situations. I adapt each lesson to my student’s goals, learning style, and interests, ensuring that every session is engaging and productive. I use a variety of techniques such as guided conversation practice, listening and reading activities, grammar and vocabulary building, and writing exercises. I also integrate authentic materials, including videos, articles, and role-play scenarios, to make lessons practical and relevant. Lesson Length: My typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adjust the duration to suit your schedule or specific learning needs. Qualifications and Experience: I am an experienced English tutor with a strong background in teaching both children and adults at various proficiency levels. I have taught general English, conversational English, and exam preparation courses. My experience allows me to design lessons that are structured, goal-oriented, and personalised to help each student progress effectively. Who My Lessons Are For: I teach students aged 12 and above, from beginner to advanced levels. Whether you want to improve your speaking confidence, prepare for an exam, or enhance your professional English skills, I’ll tailor the lessons to your needs and learning pace.
