About Thomas

I have recently graduated and am currently on a gap year before continuing my education in the form of a PhD next October. I am passionate about helping my students learn, and go at a very calm and relaxed pace during lessons.

I myself have taken mathematics and physics GCSEs and A-levels and know exactly what it takes to achieve the highest marks in these exams. I want to help you achieve this too!

My teaching is unique, as not only will I teach you how to solve the very trickiest maths/physics questions with confidence, I also focus on exam technique which is essential to the difference between an 8 or 9, or an A or A*.

I very much look forward to starting this journey with you and helping you achieve your goals!

About the lesson

I have two years experience in tutoring, teaching 2nd year mathematics students at university in my free time. I had 7-9 students in my class but spent a lot of time individually with undergraduates, helping them with problem sheets when they needed personal assistance.

I have a 1st Class degree in mathematics and physics, and achieved the highest results in my cohort in various modules. These included Electromagnetism and Quantum Mechanics 94%, Fluid Dynamics exam 96% and an Integral Equations exam 93%.

Lessons are typically one hour but can be extended to 90 minutes .

My lessons are for students of any age and focus on GCSE mathematics and physics and A-level mathematics.
