About VAN THO

Hello everyone! My name is Pham Van Tho, but please feel free to call me Arthur. I am excited to have the opportunity to be your teacher and share my knowledge and experiences with you.

I have always been passionate about international business and fascinated by the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. This dual interest led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Trade from Ming Chuan University in Taiwan, followed by a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in Business from SP Jain School of Global Management, which I attended on a prestigious 70% scholarship.

My international education journey has shaped me into who I am today - a globally-minded, culturally adaptable, and analytically sharp individual. It has equipped me with a robust understanding of global commerce, finance, marketing, as well as cutting-edge AI applications in business decision-making.

Beyond academics, I bring practical industry experience to the classroom. I have a proven track record in customer-facing roles, harnessing my interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, provide exceptional service, and drive sales success. I have also applied my technical skills in real-world settings, leveraging data analytics and machine learning to inform strategic decisions and deliver operational excellence.

I am a lifelong learner, constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. As a polyglot, I enjoy the challenge of mastering new languages. As an AI enthusiast, I am always exploring innovative ways to harness its power to transform businesses.

About the lesson

:

I am an experienced Vietnamese language teacher with over 1 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. As a native Vietnamese speaker, I provide my students with authentic pronunciation and deep cultural insights. In addition to Vietnamese, I am also fluent in both Chinese and English, which allows me to effectively communicate with and relate to a diverse range of students.

My approach to teaching Vietnamese is immersive, engaging and tailored to each student's needs and goals. I employ a communicative language teaching methodology, with a focus on building practical speaking and listening skills through natural conversation practice. Typical lessons are 60-90 minutes long and incorporate a variety of interactive activities - dialogues, role-plays, games, etc. - to keep students energized and absorbing the language.

I also methodically cover reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, with lesson materials carefully curated to be relevant and level-appropriate. Depending on a student's level and objectives, I may use a combination of textbooks and custom-made materials. I assign homework between lessons to reinforce learning and maintain momentum.

My experience includes teaching Vietnamese to young children, middle and high school students, university students, adult learners and corporate clients. I tailor my teaching style and content to best match the age, level and learning preferences of each student or group class.
I am patient, encouraging and passionate about sharing my language and culture with others. I find it deeply fulfilling to help my students progress in their Vietnamese skills and cultural understanding.
