About Ryan
My desire to teach is deeply personal, born from my own academic journey. I understand firsthand the frustration and challenge of struggling with difficult concepts, as there were times during my own studies when I felt overwhelmed. However, with the right guidance, I discovered that these hurdles were not insurmountable. The transformative combination of effective study techniques and the steadfast encouragement from my own tutor was instrumental in my success, ultimately helping me achieve a high score of 41 in the IB Diploma. This experience showed me the profound impact a supportive mentor can have. Now, I am driven to pay that forward. I am passionate about providing that same lifeline to my students—equipping them with the tailored strategies to conquer academic challenges while fostering an encouraging environment where they build the confidence to succeed.

Hi! My name is Ryan. I am an IB graduate from the class of 2024 with a score of 41, and am currently studying in Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. My tutoring approach is highly personalized, tailoring each lesson to the student's unique learning style, pace, and academic goals, ensuring we focus on their specific areas for improvement. I emphasize on creating an easy-going and encouraging teaching atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I am specialized in teaching Math HL and Physics SL, however, my firsthand IB experience, combined with my ongoing engineering education, allows me to also offer valuable strategic insights to non-IB students. I am flexible and available to conduct lessons both online and in person, dedicated to helping each student unlock their full potential.
