About Andrew
I have 21years of teaching experience as a professional teacher, out of which 10 years have been in South African Schools. I also double as a trained Journalist with 10year experience in Radio Broadcasting. Originally from Ghana, I completed my Matric in 1996 and proceeded to Teacher Training college, where I obtained my Diploma in teaching in the year 2000 from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. As a teacher, I ventured into Journalism out of passion and love for the Radio job, and by 2003, I obtained a Diploma in Journalism with Distinction.
In 2006 he entered the University of Education, Winneba Ghana, to do Bachelor’s Degree, and by 2010 I successfully graduated. I combined my teaching career with Radio work as a Radio presenter on many Radio stations in Ghana. Among them was Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, where I rose to become the programs manager for Uniik Fm until 2011 when I left the shores of Ghana for the USA and my agent left me here in South Africa; the rest is history. Seeing the importance of Education while teaching in several high schools in this South Africa, I took the opportunity to enroll in the University of Kwazulu Natal in 2015 to do my Honors degree. Again in 2016, I applied for and was admitted to Concordia University in the United States of America to do my Master’s Degree. In February 2018, I successfully graduated from the school of education with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.
Currently, I am a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Ukzn and a contract lecturer and a tutor at STADIO Faculty of Education.
