About Stella
As a current English student studying at undergraduate degree-level, I feel that I have learnt skills throughout my time studying English that are valuable to students who may be struggling. Having previously delivered personal tutoring for GCSE-level I have gained an understanding of how different people learn and what approaches may suit different types of students. I studied Media studies and now also study Journalism on a joint-honours degree and so have had to be efficient in writing and producing articles for blogs and news pages. If its spelling, grammar or more in-depth text studies you’re stuck on I’d like to highlight these areas and then expand and further consolidate your understanding.

As I have experience in both GCSE, A-Level and now degree level English studies, I feel that I can pass on the skills I used to help further specific needs or difficulties. If you are struggling with a specific text, niche area or understanding of a certain topic in English, I prefer to help directly with this area so that the problems you face will soon become areas that you feel confident and proficient in. This is what I have learnt is the easiest and quickest way to progress in English. Nobody learns the same and somebodies clear understanding can be another persons area of difficulty so each lesson will be based on what YOU want to gain :)
