About Margot
As you already know, I study medicine, and it is truly a vocational career for me. My journey began with tutoring science to primary school children, which inspired me to discover and pursue internships in paediatrics. In addition to working with children, I have also taught adults with learning difficulties essential independent living skills. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, as it provided an opportunity to actively help them live independently. Teaching combines my love for science and my desire to help others. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills to support your learning journey.

Hi, I’m Margot, a 2nd year medical student at the University of St Andrews. I have an in-depth understanding of the medical application process, with expertise in Biology, interviews, and admission test preparation. In addition to the UK, I have successfully navigated the Irish and Italian medical school application processes, but ultimately chose to commit to St Andrews. I’ve tutored numerous students from the UK and internationally across various age groups. Over the years, I’ve learnt to adapt and refine my skills to meet individual needs. My aim is to enhance your university application by providing specific support for nuanced biology exam questions or MMI interview techniques. In high school, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and French at A-level, while also earning an additional diploma in French. I’ve received numerous offers from prestigious boarding schools such as Charterhouse, Wellington, and Cheltenham. I thoroughly understand the admissions process and can provide in-depth tutoring, drawing from my own experiences and successes. My teaching style is a student-centred approach designed to guide you towards success. The aim is to leverage your achievements and address your weaknesses. I prefer to focus on specific weak areas and conduct several mock exams. This will provide you with effective feedback, ensuring you feel confident and prepared.
