About Dania

Hi! My name's Dania and I am a second year medical student at UCL. I’m an online tutor and have been for over 3 years, helping my students succeed in their biology and chemistry studies up to A-level and maths up to GCSE. I have also helped students throughout the medicine application process with UCAT, BMAT, interview preparation and personal statement writing in particular. I understand how stressful these exams can be having gone through them myself not too long ago and I hope that through my support and guidance I can relieve some of that stress, increase your confidence and help you fulfil your goals. I have overcome many challenges having gone through these exam periods myself and have learnt unique tips that will help you improve in your exam technique which I will share with you. I am motivated enthusiastic individual and I try my best to make a relaxed environment in our sessions so that you feel comfortable to ask all the questions you need. I am very flexible in my teaching style depending on the student in order to provide the best possible support specific to each student. I like to give plenty of questions to get you practising in order to spot any weaknesses so that we can work together to get you more confident in these areas

About the lesson

My lessons are often 1-1.5 hours long and include lots of engagement and interaction with students. I often bring many questions and examples to lessons which we can work through together and allow time for you to ask questions. My lessons are tailored to each student and learning styles and with my practical knowledge and experiences that I will be sharing with you, you will see yourself improving allowing you to achieve the academic success you strive for. We will round off each lesson with a plan for the next one and I will set questions for you to complete between lessons that we will go through together at the beginning of each session in order to assess your progress and highlight areas which need improvement. I have taught a range of ages and I am more than comfortable adapting to different ages from KS2 to sixth form. I have had over 3+ years being an online tutor and have seen students rapidly progress with my help.
