My sessions focus on exploring strategies that my students can then apply to their personal practice, as the MMI/interview is a skills-based exam. The structure of my sessions can be summarised as follows:
1) We’ll start our session by discussing where you are at currently? What's been working for you? What hasn't? This allows me to tailor the rest of the session to your needs.
2) I’ll explain a few strategies relevant to the interview. As different people prefer different strategies, we will cover ones that a majority of my tutees and peers have found useful.
3) Then, we’ll work through some questions together. I’ll ask you to verbalise your thought processes as you solve the question, as the method you use to reach the answer will affect your accuracy and timing.
