About Pertunia Motama
I am a third year foundation phase student that has a great passion for teaching, I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today. I have 2 years of teaching practicals experience, this year will mark my third year of my teaching experience.

I'm a firm believer that teaching should be fun yet educating. The unique element in my lessons is the two-way communication that I will develop with the learner, you will see that the learner will freely express their opinion, even the learners who is shy or academically weak will find it easier to express himself/herself. My lesson will be learner-centered with the use of inquiry based instruction, where I will check the learner's prior knowledge based on the topic at hand and then I will gradually build on to the learner's existing knowledge.
