About Molly

I am a very friendly and enthusiastic teacher - tutoring is something I've really enjoyed doing in the past and would love to continue doing so in the future! I have struggled with exam stress in the past but have massively improved in my management of this - I can empathise with your nerves and your desire to do well, and can provide help in managing this alongside academics. I have achieved consistently high grades at school and medical school so far but this hasn't always been easy. I have had to persevere and struggle with many topics - I will always understand if you are finding something particularly difficult and it is very likely I initially found it hard too! As a consequence I will understand your confusion and be able to explain it in an accessible way.

About the lesson

Coming from a state school, I often had to teach myself GCSE and A Level content, as well as navigating applying to medical school as a first generation medic with limited external help. Through falling into common pitfalls in my exam and medical school prep first hand, I can help you to avoid these and provide effective revision and preparation tips that I have personally tried and tested. I have experience in tutoring students from my secondary school in Maths, French and Sciences and consequentially have the communication and explanatory skills to get your head around tricky-to-master concepts. Having recently sat my A Levels in 2024 and my GCSEs in 2022, I understand how to pass the exams effectively - what is high yield and what exam technique is needed to gain the best grades. I can tutor students in GCSE French, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English Literature and Language, and in A Level Biology and Chemistry. I can also provide support with the EPQ. I am also happy to provide tips for MMI medical school interviews, personal statements and the UCAT. I offer an individualised tutor style. Whether you would like a walkthrough of a topic, set of questions, or to do a paper alongside me, I will adjust my sessions to what you need.
