About Arya

I am a 3rd year medical student at University College London. I studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-level and achieved 3 A*s. Having been in teaching roles before, such as assisting my dance teacher and leading my school’s Medic Society, my passion for teaching comes from genuinely wanting to help future generations achieve their dreams. I completely relate to the stress and pressure students feel when preparing for their GCSEs and A-levels, and it would have helped to have someone to relate to when I was at that stage. As a tutor, I hope to be that person for students, and with the pressure eased off them, they can achieve whatever they desire.

About the lesson

Having achieved 11 9s and an 8 at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-level, I understand the school curriculum, and the gaps in understanding there may be from the way schools deliver teaching. My aim as a tutor is to fill in these gaps by easing off the pressure students feel when preparing for exams and providing them the space to build confidence. I would take the time to learn how each student likes to learn, offering a personalised approach so they can achieve their full potential. And lastly, I would love to be someone they can relate to in a particularly stressful period of their school life.
