3rd year Newcastle Chemistry student teaching both GCSE Sciences and A-level Chemistry in a relaxed and open environment.

Reuben has helped me understand ionic cell equations and electrolysis, and I have also really enjoyed our tutoring sessions. I have never felt more confident in my ability to do my GCSE’s. He is patient, kind and understanding as he explains things really well. I look forward to our lessons and have found a new found love for science :)

I taught Reuben A-level Chemistry between 2020-22. He proved himself to be an excellent chemist. He has a talent for picking up new concepts with ease and asking probing questions, which demonstrate a depth of understanding and ability to think beyond the superficial details.
Reuben has a calm and reassuring manner when communicating with others. He is able to explain complex ideas in a way that is clear, concise, and easy to understand. He is also a good listener, carefully considering what he has heard before formulating an appropriate response.
I believe that Reuben's knowledge and understanding of chemistry, along with his calm, considered and approachable manner, will make him an excellent tutor.
