About
I'm a professionally-trained concert pianist who majored in piano at the world-reknowned Juilliard School for the Performing Arts in NYC. I've been playing piano since age 6, and I've been teaching piano for 24 years.
My method of teaching piano is simple, straightforward and effective. I teach all students how to develop the right habits, that will enable them to play the piano the right way. And I teach students how to master the "8 different types of motions" that are required to play the piano, so that they can learn to play anything on the piano! That's what makes my approach to teaching piano unique and so highly effective. Because in order to play a piece of music on the piano the right way, you have to use "the right type of motion" for the task at hand in the piece.
