About Nathan
I am going into my 4th year studying Medical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, with a view to studying medicine afterwards (so am happy to help with admissions as well). Biology was my favourite subject at A level, and I have become even more passionate about it as I've been able to study it at a higher level at uni. I hope to bring to my lessons my passion for biology, as well as my depth of understanding from studying it at undergraduate level, to help me explain things in engaging and understandable ways.

I would describe my teaching method as very student-led, I look to meet the student where they're at and address the fundamental gaps first before establishing a deeper understanding. A firm foundation in biology is really important, as without it new information can be very difficult to understand, and with it, new and difficult information is much easier to make sense of.
The style of the lesson can be flexible to your needs, as can lesson length - just let me know! I would normally use tools such as Powerpoints to develop knowledge, as well as using quick tests and working through past paper questions in order to develop question familiarisation and exam technique.
