About Grace
I have tutored a student weekly for a year in Maths, English and Science in a primary school in South London through the SHINE program, which helps disadvantaged pupils receive more support in class. This was a great opportunity to get one to one tutoring experience and I was proud to see the progress my student made in class with my support.
I am used to teaching in challenging environments; I spent two weeks in Nepal teaching English to students in schools in remote areas of the Annapurna mountain range. There I had to come up with creative ways to teach around the language barrier, and to keep a class of 20 children entertained!

Hi! I'm Grace, a medical student going into my fourth year of study at Kings College London, and can tutor English, chemistry and biology, as well as help with applications to medical school.
I have a strong understanding of the A level and GCSE syllabus, and went to a very academically challenging school myself so I understand the pressures on pupils today to achieve good exam results. I believe the key to tutoring is building a pupil’s self-confidence so they have the ability to visualize their learning goals and believe they are capable of reaching them.
Having gone through the application process myself and helped family friends with theirs I have a very strong idea of what it takes to get into medical school so am very willing and confident to help students with this.
