About Michael
Hi, my name is Michael and I am a 4th year Computer Engineering student at Trinity College Dublin. I have over 2 years of tutoring experience, and I am currently focused on doing Junior Cert and Leaving Cert grinds.
I offer grinds as I find it very rewarding to teach people maths. I enjoy helping people understand different concepts, which may involve going back to square one and going back over the basics.
Computer Engineering is a demanding college course, so grinds are ideal for me as it means I don't have to work a part-time job as well as study!

In my lessons, a large focus is placed on exam paper questions, as I believe this is the best way to prepare for the real exam. I often time students on questions to help them get used to the pace of the real exam.
Aside from this, I am also happy to focus on whatever area students may be struggling with at any given time. This may include running through homework questions, doing a few extra questions from the textbook, or explaining a concept using first principles to make sure the topic is understood.

Michael prepared me for my leaving cert in leaving cert physics. I was doing ok throughout the year but with the help of Michael I received a H1. He showed me the patterns in past exam papers and cut out a lot of the unnecessary information. I would highly recommend Michael.
I was really struggling with leaving cert maths and physics and didn’t truly have an understanding on how to answer questions in those subjects successfully. Michael explained perfectly the methods used in these subjects and how to study these subjects properly. I seriously recommend Michael as a tutor if struggling with these subjects.
Michael is passionate about maths and a great teacher.He has great patience, makes sure that you fully understand the problem before moving on and fully caters for students of all levels when teaching.
