About Mary

After studying Mathematics my entire educational career, I can confidently say that the key to loving the subject, as well as getting high grades, is having a great teacher. I hope to give other students the help confidence I recieved at my secondary school — Francis Holland School Regents Park.

I am a friendly, motivated teacher, who as achieved the highest grades in all of my exams. Coaching my two younger siblings, who went on to get A*'s in Maths GCSE and A Level, revealed to me my passion for teaching, and I hope to commit to this career path after university.

About the lesson

Typical length of lesson is 1 hour.

Tailored lesson plan depending on requirements - year 7 to A Level

Student will send ahead their areas of concern, homework questions, or past papers they are struggling with, and I will adjust the session accordingly.

Happy to cover new topics, or ones the student is learning this week in school.

For GCSE and A Level I will focus also on exam technique, and sessions may be more catered towards these topics.

Will use textbook resources, online interactive whiteboards, and pre-made lesson plans with questions.
