About Arun

Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 4th year medical student at Sheffield University intercalating in a clinical research project. I completed my A-levels, UCAT, and medical interviews in 2020. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 1500 hours of tutoring in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations

About the lesson

I have experience tutoring, helping to teach my younger sister GCSEs, and now A-Levels and completing over 1500 hours. However, working as a hockey coach, swimming teacher and primary school teaching assistant, I can quickly evaluate and understand a student's needs. My teaching technique is relatively relaxed and the student could ask me any question that they feel necessary and be fun at the same time, but remain professional. I felt I learnt better in a fun and vibrant environment rather than being talked to, which I hope I will show you and you will enjoy. I am quite young and having very recently taken my A-Levels and interviews, I feel as if I will be able to highlight any areas that I found difficult (especially from a SEN perspective). I have also helped to mark interview stations at my university, so understand the criteria needed for a good application
