About James
Guitar & Music Lessons – All Styles and Levels Welcome!
Whether you're into jazz, classical, rock, punk, or country, I’m here to help you develop your skills and reach your musical goals. I hold Grade 8 in Classical Guitar and Music Theory, and have extensive experience performing in pit bands, prestigious venues across London and Europe, and as a session musician.
I have a BA in Music from the University of Bristol, where I specialised in performance, composition, and theory—receiving the Raymond Warren Prize for Outstanding Composition. I also hold a diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from the Abbey Road Institute.
My work in world-renowned studios such as Abbey Road, Angel Studios, Crouch End Studios, and Super Symmetry has given me valuable insight into the music industry—insight I bring to lessons tailored for students aiming to succeed in both performance and production.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for grades, or working towards a professional music career, I’ll help you build the skills and confidence to thrive.
