About Sebastian
My name is Seb and I have just turned 18 years old. I have been a tutor at my school for 3 years now, and have taken a wide variety of students and abilities through their exams. Now I have left school, I wish to continue tutoring and have found this platform to do so. In my own GCSEs I achieved 11 Grade 9s in 2023 (not inflated by COVID) and have been predicted 4A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Latin at A Level. As it seems I don’t have the experience that other tutors might, I am willing to offer one FREE 1hr session as a trial run to any new tutees.

A very flexible approach to lessons. I can start at any time of the preparation process, whether that is teaching content, revising key ideas, or going through exam-style practice questions. Typically, half a lesson will be spent learning/revising content, and the other half will be spent exemplifying knowledge through exam-style questions. Lesson structure can be changed at any time to accommodate nearing assessments, mock exams, or external exams. Sessions will typically last 1hr, although this can easily be lengthened/shortened to suit the needs of each tutee. I am most comfortable teaching STEM at a GCSE level, but in the past I have taken on every subject: for example I could do 3hrs a week with a tutee on their choice of subjects for that week. GCSE Subjects: Maths Physics, Chemistry, Biology English Literature, English Language History, RS, Latin, Geography, Music French
