About Tobias
Developing hand independence requires clarity in early training. I focus on classical repertoire and sight transposition to build your foundational skills. Having taught for 3 years, I combine my MMus from Sydney Conservatorium with clear pedagogy. It is rewarding to hear students master ear training and accompaniment.

Progress is rarely a straight line of ascending scales. You should expect a rigorous but supportive atmosphere during our time at the keys.
I provide a progress tracker shared with parents every month to maintain transparency. My 3 years of performing and teaching inform how we approach these 60 minute blocks. The structure follows a standard Conservatorium approach adapted for home practice. Expect to focus on physical ergonomics and musicality as we work through the repertoire.
