About Jinee

I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, specialising in helping high school and college students achieve their English language goals. I have taught 150-200 students, each with unique needs and aspirations, and have been privileged to witness their growth and success.

My approach to teaching is rooted in passion and empathy. I focus on building students’ confidence in all aspects of English, from grammar and vocabulary to conversation and academic writing. I believe that language learning is a journey, and I strive to make every lesson interactive, practical, and inspiring.

Some of my proudest milestones include seeing students improve their test scores dramatically, deliver presentations with confidence, and actively participate in conversations in English for the first time. I incorporate real-life examples and relatable exercises to make learning meaningful and memorable.

I am committed to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing every day. My goal is not only to teach English but also to inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

I take great pride in helping students succeed and look forward to continuing this journey with more learners, guiding them to reach their full potential in English and beyond.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centred around practical learning and student engagement. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students see the relevance of English in daily life, work, and study. This approach allows them to use language actively rather than just memorising rules.

I focus on motivating students by setting achievable goals, encouraging self-expression, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere. This helps learners develop confidence in using English in different contexts.

I value integrity, providing honest feedback and support while fostering a safe and respectful learning environment. My lessons are flexible, tailored to individual student needs, learning speed, and interests.

Additionally, I incorporate lessons from other subjects like communication skills, presentation techniques, and study strategies to make learning English more holistic and engaging. My goal is to help students become independent, confident English speakers who enjoy learning and can apply their skills in real-world situations.
