About Evie
I sometimes admit that I find the structure of English grammar more beautiful than a musical composition. My 13 years of teaching ESL have shaped me into a guide who meets students exactly where they currently stand.
Having completed an MMus Music Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, I apply that same level of disciplined focus to helping you master academic writing and reading comprehension. Whether we are focusing on your listening comprehension or building your speaking confidence, I keep our sessions grounded in practical goals. My work includes helping students with vocabulary building and professional email and letter writing. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss your specific goals.

You receive structured feedback immediately, as I believe that pacing should move at your personal speed. With 44 students taught, I have refined a system that prioritises clarity and precision in every interaction. We address your grammar foundations during the first portion of our time together to ensure that your later work rests on a stable base. My background of 13 years allows me to anticipate common hurdles in language acquisition and resolve them before they become bad habits.
I focus intently on your speaking confidence so that you feel prepared for any real-world scenario. Your progress is measured through consistent application of the skills we identify during our initial consultation. I look forward to supporting your linguistic journey with warmth and attention to detail.
