About Divya
Hi, I'm Divya — an ACCA Member with 3+ years of hands-on experience in banking, real estate, and construction, where I review companies' financial controls, risk exposures, and reporting for a living. Before that, I taught students Accounts, Business Studies, and Economics, and quickly realized my favorite part of the job wasn't the audits — it was the moment a concept finally clicked for a student.
I bring real industry context into every lesson. When we talk about depreciation, revenue recognition, or supply and demand, it's not just theory from a textbook — it's grounded in what I actually see in company financials every day. That's what makes the subject stick instead of feeling abstract.
I've led audit teams, presented to senior stakeholders, and simplified complex financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) for non-finance people — so breaking down exam-level Accounts or Economics topics into clear, manageable steps is something I do naturally.
