About Theo
As a Spanish tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, I have successfully guided around 150 High School and College students on their language learning journey. I truly enjoy helping students discover that Spanish can be both interesting and easy to learn when it is taught with patience and the right methods.
My teaching philosophy is based on understanding every student's individual learning style. I believe no two students learn in exactly the same way, so I adapt my lessons according to their needs and goals. My classes include grammar, vocabulary, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening practice. Every lesson combines theory with practical activities that encourage students to use Spanish confidently.
I use real-life examples, conversation practice, short reading passages, vocabulary games, and regular revision exercises to make learning enjoyable. Students receive continuous support and constructive feedback so they can steadily improve. I also introduce aspects of Spanish culture, helping students appreciate the language beyond textbooks.
Helping around 150 students gain confidence and improve their academic performance has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Many learners have achieved better grades and become more comfortable communicating in Spanish. These achievements motivate me to continue delivering high-quality lessons.
My goal is not only to teach Spanish but also to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love for lifelong learning. I strive to make every lesson productive, positive, and enjoyable for every student.

My Spanish teaching philosophy emphasises creating lessons that are practical, interactive, and student-focused. Accountability encourages students to set clear goals, monitor their progress, and actively participate in lessons. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and challenges.
I embrace Flexibility, modifying lesson content, exercises, and strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal interests. Communication is central; I foster conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and nurtures curiosity. I also integrate related subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and enrich understanding. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
