About Lisa

I am a dedicated Singing tutor with 12 years of experience teaching School students, College students, and Working Professionals. My passion for music and teaching has allowed me to help students of different ages and skill levels develop strong vocal abilities and greater confidence. I believe that every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to help them discover and develop it through structured and enjoyable learning.

My teaching approach focuses on personalised instruction. I take time to understand each student's goals, strengths, and challenges before creating a customised learning plan. Whether a student wants to improve basic singing skills, prepare for performances, or build confidence in public singing, I provide guidance that supports steady progress.

My lessons cover vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch control, rhythm development, tone improvement, articulation, and stage performance. I use practical exercises, song-based learning, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and effective. Students receive regular feedback and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.

In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Performance Skills. These related subjects help students gain a complete understanding of music and strengthen their overall abilities as performers. I also teach healthy vocal habits that support long-term vocal development.

I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. My mission is to help learners become confident singers while developing a lifelong appreciation for music and creativity.

About the lesson

My Singing teaching methodology combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to help students achieve measurable results. I believe that with the right guidance and consistent practice, every student can improve their vocal abilities and reach their musical goals.

I begin by assessing the student's current skill level and identifying their strengths, challenges, and objectives. Based on this assessment, I create a personalised learning plan that focuses on steady and achievable progress.

Creativity keeps students motivated and engaged. I use a combination of vocal exercises, song projects, listening activities, and performance tasks to make lessons enjoyable and effective. Students learn through active participation rather than passive observation.

My lessons focus on breath support, pitch control, vocal range development, rhythm, diction, tone quality, and performance skills. Students receive practical exercises and constructive feedback that help them improve consistently.

Understanding is essential to my teaching approach. I recognise that every student learns differently and may require different strategies to succeed. Therefore, I adapt my methods to meet individual needs.

Time management allows me to structure lessons effectively and maximise learning opportunities. Every class includes warm-ups, technical training, song application, and progress evaluation.

Alongside Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Wellness, Sight Singing, and Performance Preparation. My goal is to help students become confident singers with strong technical and artistic abilities.
