Information is more easily absorbed in 30-45 minutes then an hour long session (brains can fizzle after this meaning you don't get as much out of longer sessions).
I am a practical minded person (used to be a mechanic before changing to accounting) and find rope learning to be painful.
I like to find a way to make it make sense so that its an understanding that can be applied across all situations - rather than a rule to learn.
I have been tutoring since high school (over 15 years).
Lessons in accounting up to Level7, Maths up to NCEA L1 (possibly expanding after reviewing current curriculum).
