About Hani

Hi! I’m an Accounting Graduate with a big passion for teaching math. Ever since secondary school, I’ve loved problem-solving and helping friends understand tough topics - which is why I scored A+ in both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics in SPM. I was also a mentor for Additional Mathematics in high school, and later a mentor for Financial Accounting during my Diploma in Accounting. These experiences taught me patience and how to explain concepts clearly, step by step. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time baking, reading, and solving puzzles - activities that sharpen my focus and creativity. I believe learning should be fun and approachable, and I bring that same energy into my lessons. My goal is to help students not only improve academically but also develop confidence and a positive mindset towards math.

About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach

As an Accounting Graduate with a strong passion for maths, I aim to make learning simple, engaging, and confidence-building. I understand that many students find maths intimidating, so my focus is on creating a supportive environment where concepts are broken down step by step and applied in ways that make sense.

Techniques & Methods
• Step-by-step explanations with plenty of practice questions
• Real-life examples to connect maths with everyday situations
• Shortcuts, strategies, and tips for solving problems efficiently
• Encouraging interactive learning, where students can ask questions freely
• Personalized pacing – I adjust to each student’s learning style and speed

Typical Lesson Length

Most lessons last 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s focus and needs. Longer or shorter sessions can be arranged upon request.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (strong mathematical foundation)
• Achieved A+ in both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics in SPM
• Experience in guiding peers and juniors in maths throughout studies
• Specialize in Algebra, Arithmetic, and MAT preparation
