About Jan Asper

I am a proud graduate of Accountancy, with a strong foundation in logic, precision, and problem-solving that I bring to every Algebra lesson I teach. My academic training has honed my ability to break down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-follow steps — a skill I use to help students master math without feeling overwhelmed. I am patient, detail-oriented, and fully committed to helping every learner build confidence, improve their grades, and develop lasting skills they can rely on. I take pride in delivering professional, respectful, and high-quality tutoring tailored to each student’s unique needs.

About the lesson

As an Accounting graduate, I use the same logical, detail-focused approach I mastered in my studies to teach Algebra simply and clearly. I start every lesson by breaking down confusing rules into easy, relatable steps, then walk through examples together before letting you practice with guided support. Lessons are made for middle and high school students, whether you’re catching up, prepping for exams, or just want to build stronger math confidence. What makes me different is that I don’t just give answers — I help you understand why each method works, so you can solve problems on your own long term. I adjust my pace and exercises to match your learning style, and offer flexible online or in-person sessions.
