About Edward
I've been teaching for about 2 years now and have experience in the Cambridge Accounting syllabus from IGCSEs up to A-Levels. I am also currently studying Accounting on a university level and have had the privilege of working in the Big 4 Accounting firms too. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in an international school and tutored English and Math for primary students. Also have experience teaching children with special needs such as dyslexia or ADD.

I am offering classes for students from the age of 7-12 for Mathematics/English and students from the age of 13-17 for Accounting/English. I base my classes on the individual needs and preferred learning styles of each student, choosing to engage them in a manner that interests them most rather than traditional textbook methods (but if students prefer the more traditional method, I will adapt too). These may include more practical ways of teaching through projects/assignments or an application/example based teaching method that encourages students to think for themselves rather than just memorize things.
I tend to be firm but approachable when it comes to my relationship with students. I do not mind a more laid-back environment (I like to be viewed as a friend helping out with homework so long as it doesn't sidetrack progress in the long run).
