About Oliver
I hold a BSc in Chemistry from Kingston University, an MRes in Advanced Organic Synthesis and Polymer Chemistry, and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Surrey, where my research focused on developing innovative adhesive materials. Professionally, I work as a Polymer Scientist in industry, specialising in advanced materials, green chemistry, and electrospun nanofibres for large-scale applications. My academic and professional journey has given me a deep understanding of science and problem-solving. I want to teach because I enjoy sharing knowledge, breaking down complex topics, and inspiring students to gain confidence and curiosity in science through supportive learning.

My tutoring style is centred on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps that students can clearly understand.
