About Rachel
Hey y'all!
I am excited to learn about your musical goals, and work together to help you achieve them! I love to play piano and violin, but my real passion is singing. I started singing in choir as a toddler, and I have professional experience in choirs, jazz ensembles, opera, and musical theater. I studied voice in college, and started teaching lessons and singing in pro choirs to pay my rent. After college, I taught choir for 4 years in DFW, and also worked as a Music Director for several musicals. I love helping people understand music theory, but I know that's not everyone's thing. I am open to all types of students, and I aim to provide a tailored, positive musical experience that will help you improve.
