• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  My interest in tutoring math grew out of my experience as an assistant professor in an engineering college. I noticed that many students struggled with the subject and lacked proper guidance. As I began helping them, I discovered a passion for clarifying complex concepts and empowering students to feel confident in their abilities. That's when I realized tutoring was my calling.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  Math has always captivated me because of its inherent logic and problem-solving nature. When I delve into a mathematical concept, I become completely engrossed, forgetting about everything else. This deep fascination with the subject is what drives my passion for tutoring. Even during my vipassana course, I found myself drawn to mathematical ideas, reaffirming my commitment to this field.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  What I love most about tutoring is witnessing the transformation in my students. When I encounter a student struggling with a concept, I see it as a challenge to make it clear and comprehensible to them. The moment they grasp the material and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding for me. I strive to be a "Superprof" by not only imparting knowledge but also instilling confidence and enthusiasm in my students, thereby empowering them to excel in math.

• Do you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Anand Kumar serves as a source of inspiration for me. His dedication to helping underprivileged students achieve their goals, particularly in cracking tough exams, deeply resonates with me. His selfless commitment to education motivates me to make a positive impact on my students' lives, regardless of their background or circumstances.

• What are your keys to success?

  The key to success lies in acquiring knowledge and applying it effectively. Learning is merely the first step; true success comes from implementing that knowledge in real-life scenarios. I constantly strive to find innovative ways to apply mathematical concepts, reinforcing my understanding and facilitating my students' learning journeys.
  
  As a patient tutor, I once had a student who struggled with understanding and appeared reluctant and unmotivated. To address this, I shifted my focus to explaining concepts and their real-world applications, making lessons more interactive. This approach successfully sparked his interest and engagement. Consequently, his understanding and willingness to learn improved, leading to better performance and a more positive attitude towards learning.
