About Abigail
My name is Abigail, and I’m currently an undergraduate student studying Marine Biology. While I’m passionate about the ocean and marine life, I’ve also discovered a deep love for teaching—especially Bahasa Melayu! I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand and appreciate the beauty of our national language. Teaching Bahasa Melayu allows me to share that passion, and I find great joy in seeing students grow in confidence and improve their skills over time. I believe learning should be fun and encouraging, especially for young students. I specialize in teaching primary school students, focusing on creating a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. My teaching method is interactive and student-centered—I use storytelling, visual aids, simple examples, and real-life connections to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Each lesson typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, which I find is ideal for maintaining focus and retention at the primary level. I break the lesson into segments that include explanation, practice, and quick reviews to keep students actively involved. I'm passionate about education and always aim to boost not just academic skills, but also confidence and curiosity in learning. My lessons are perfect for primary school students aged 6 to 12, whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead in subjects like Math, English, and Science.
