About Ashley
With 6 years of experience as a mathematics tutor, I have helped students at GCSE, A-Level, and university level improve their understanding, performance, and confidence in mathematics. I am passionate about making maths more approachable by explaining difficult concepts through simple methods and step-by-step guidance.
My lessons are designed to match each student’s individual learning needs and academic objectives. I teach topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics, and mathematical reasoning using structured explanations and interactive problem-solving exercises. I focus strongly on building a solid foundation while also improving speed, accuracy, and exam performance.
I encourage students to think critically and develop independent learning habits rather than relying only on memorisation. Lessons include practice questions, revision support, and exam-focused strategies that help students tackle complex mathematical problems with confidence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students from various educational backgrounds and ability levels. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my teaching style to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment. My aim is to help students achieve academic success while developing confidence and a positive attitude towards mathematics.

My tutoring sessions provide a supportive and motivating environment where students can develop a deeper understanding of physics with confidence. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and university physics using clear explanations, interactive discussions, and carefully planned lesson structures tailored to each learner’s needs.
Every lesson is designed to strengthen analytical thinking and simplify challenging topics into manageable steps. I focus on helping students connect mathematical reasoning with physical concepts, making subjects such as mechanics, thermal physics, electromagnetism, and nuclear physics easier to understand. Lessons include worked examples, problem-solving activities, and targeted revision methods that improve both accuracy and speed.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so my lessons encourage open discussion and active engagement. I carefully monitor progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure continuous improvement. Students also receive guidance on exam strategies, scientific writing, and handling complex calculations under timed conditions.
My goal is to help learners achieve excellent academic results while building long-term confidence in physics. By creating organised, focused, and encouraging lessons, I help students overcome difficulties, strengthen weak areas, and approach exams with greater preparation and self-belief.
