About Zak

I am Zak a current year 12 student. The reasons as to why I want to tutor are that I enjoy helping others and find satisfaction in seeing them succeed. I believe that when I teach I am not only reinforcing my own understanding of the subject, but I am also able to make a positive impact on someone else's educational journey.
I have always enjoyed maths as I believe it is not just a set of rules and formulas, but is its own language in which opens and unlocks endless possibilities and helps to foster critical thinking in people. I hope to inspire others to develop a similar appreciation behind this language.

About the lesson

In our lessons, I can assist you in multiple ways. Whether it be going through homework you're struggling with, helping you with past paper and exam board specific questions.
If you just want to learn a topic and don't know where to start I am not only able to provide you your own exam board specific questions on the topic and guide you through how to solve each and every one. I am also able to teach you the ideas and formulas behind certain subjects whether it be from Algebra to Geometry and Graphs.
The typical length of a lesson would be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 depending on the specific content you would like to cover, these would be done online and so my timings would be very flexible.
My qualifications include having a predicted A*A*A*A in A levels (which I am taking Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computer-Science), whilst having a grade card of (concealed information) in GCSE's with a 9 in maths and physics. Not only this but in my school I teach an engineering club with another pupil Mondays after school where we explore the physics and mathematics behind the technology that surrounds us in todays world.
My lessons are aimed mainly towards GCSE's, and are also open to the years below. Ideally from the year 8 - year 11 age range (12-16).

He does online tutoring and so has a good quality microphone and web camera, he also owns and has the access to a variety of different exam board past papers, text books, questions and mark schemes.
